Erasmus+ Student Exchange. The Erasmus+ Programme is the action scheme of the European Union to support cooperation and mobility in education. The University of Vienna currently has bilateral agreements with about 370 European universities and can offer students around 2,800 Erasmus+ spots to study at these European partner universities.

We decided to postpone the opening of the application process, you will be informed when the time comes (supposedly mid Feb). However, students are welcome to re-apply for an Erasmus+ spot during the main application round for the academic year 2021/22. It is important to observe the application deadline and to check in good time whether there is an earlier deadline set by students’ department as an application for an Erasmus+ spot can only be submitted via Mobility Online within the respective application period. Please note that from 2021/22, NUI Galway students on Erasmus will use the Online Learning Agreement. The aim is for the Erasmus plus the complement the adjustment of grants, transport and living costs of disadvantaged learners towards financing the projects. Last but not least, it appears that the new actions taken under the Erasmus plus programme are going to be focused on adopting new measures that will allow for even more participants in the program.
